Patterns (lens-artist photo challenge)

The lens-artist photo challenge this week is Patterns.

Lens-artist photo challenge weekly prompts can be found here:

Week 1–Patti of https://pilotfishblog.com/

Here is my take for this week’s patterns:

Reagan International Airport – 2018

Sherkston Beach – Canada – 2018 (side note – our cousin won at Bingo here in 2008 – the prize was 100 candy bars). Not the kind of candy in the next photo, but similar content: sugar, colors and fillers. Oh enough of that – because this post is about patterns and not a sugar rant.

And speaking of sugar, we really like the carbonated drinks without any added sugar. Not sure if too many are ideal, but leaving Whole Foods last month I saw a nice pattern in the La Croix stacks.

And did you ever hear of the wonderful Twitter Rants about La Croix?

Well it is time I shared some of them here because they are really funny.  I put the comments in a little glass shape… all credit goes to to twitter:

  1. Your photos are spectacular. Love the colors. I’ve not read any of the Twitter rants about La Croix & I love the one about it being the drink of the dystopian future. I don’t like the stuff, meself– but if emotionless soda is your thing, have at it.

    1. Hahah – those la croix comments crack me up and thanks for sharing your favorite one.
I do like them but prefer the plain with lemon added – and well I guess hat is just club soda- !!

  2. Those tweets were great fun, but my favorite pattern in this interesting series is that dotted floor – marvelous!

    1. Hi Leya – thanks so much for the comment. And that dotted floor is pretty loud, but I also find it amazing that it is so durable. And fit for the function of that room. peace

  3. That carpet in the club is the worst I have ever seen. Club carpet makers have a lot to answer for. Great patterns never-the-less Yvette 🙂

  4. The floor with all the colorful dots. I think that is a cool decorating but it could also get you confused or dizzy. Those wonderful Twitter Rants about La Croix are so funny. Do you like it?

    1. Hi YC – some folks think the dots are LOUD – and they are a bit – but what amazes me is how nice they look after more than ten years — maybe because they are seasonal there
And yes sir – I like la croixand other sparkling water – but I am trying to get away from anything in a can and my husband is sketchy about all natural flavors –
      – snd do you want to know an awesome fizzy drink that satisfies? It is water with teaspoon of making soda and some fresh lemon 🍋 squeezed in! Amazing and refreshing

    1. Thanks for noticing that one – I only shared small versions of both – but felt the mono showed more patterns

  6. Once again Yvette, thanks for the laugh 😀 Loved the tweets, I think the dystopian future one is my favourite, but it’s a tough choice 🙂
Also, nice patterns. I have no idea if those sweets are any good, but they do look yummy and they make for an interesting shot.

    1. That was exactly what I thought about the sweets – they’d make a good picture!
And glad we do not have to pick just one of the La croix comments – they flow so well
Together – have a carbonated feel! Ha
And they also serve as a good example of what Twitter offers – this kind of short chiming in quick and witty!

  7. LOL! I love LaCroix! I drink the lime all the time, have for years! 😀 I get what they’re saying and they make me LOL, but 0 calories, 0 sugars! I’m so there! 😀

    1. Same here – the refreshment factor is great – I am not drinking beer that much this year – but at a party I had s beer – a sparkling soda – then a beer – sparkling soda and was done! It was so satisfying

  8. Silly one you are (and that’s a compliment). Having never had the pleasure(?) of indulging in La Croix (don’t know if it is available in South Africa), I cannot verify the validity of the banter, I can verify that I enjoyed the banter about this buffering void of taste patterns drink, but hey it is about the packaging! I enjoyed your post.
