1. About Cindy’s Review. When you heck out Cindy’s review, I hope you enjoy her approach to book reviews. Cindy has a way of leading us into the book content and then brings in original material, like poems and examples, which are engaging and insightful. The time and care Cindy put into this post warms my heart and many thanks for it, Cindy. 
2. About Cindy as an author. Cindy shared how she was almost a contributing author in This is How We Grow. However, Cindy was launching her first book right around the time we were putting this book together. 3. Examples from Cindy’s review post. In her post for This is How We Grow, Cindy gave real-life examples to connect with the theme of perspective taking. One of the examples came from a recent experience with her dad at dinner. Cindy noted, “This was a prime example of how each story posed in the book takes you on an inner journey of each writers own perspective and hearing their individual stories they have to impart. How often do we make judgements about things and don’t have any idea whether they are true or not. We judge a book by it’s cover far too often and assumptions color reality and truth unless we dig deeper.”

5. Book cover connection. Cindy’s review post noted how the cover of the book – a Joshua Tree photo from Janet Webb – “beautifully illustrates the many arms of our lives on our journey.”  I like how Cindy connected the book image to the content and it reminded me (once again) how we all really do bring more to a topic. Her little insight about the tree branches was rich. I did not even think about that angle when choosing the photo from the selections that Janet sent. I just felt like the tree was a great example of vibrant growth and stability- but it really does have other layers there 
6. Closing song from Cindy’s post. Cindy ended her review post with a  “Perspective” song and when you check out her post – be sure to listen to that song.
