Lens-Artists #244: Glowing Moments

Hello Readers, The theme this week for the Lens-Artist photo challenge is “glowing moments” – and here are my photos:

The first photo is a bit sun-washed out – I was just taking a few street shots as we walked to see Les Mis last month at Altria Theatre (it was pretty good) – and this photo has my husband and son walking.

I thought it had a nice glow – but I also liked the shadows, lines, and balance with the shapes.

I ended using this photo as a screen saver on my phone.

The wallpaper looked more like this:

This next image shows a wonderful sunset glow I captured on the patio at an art show last month as well. On the patio, I was able to chat with Lauren’s husband and also met the piano player – as we all felt the beauty of the sunset.

Thanks for joining me today.

I hope you all have a great week.

Also, thanks to Siobhan of Bend Branches  for hosting the challenge this week.

  1. I like how it looks like the person in the background is holding hands with the people in the foreground through their shadow. Beautiful sunset with silhouettes of trees!

  2. I love photos with long shadows. Part of the fun of taking photos is using them as a screen saver on our devices.
