    1. Hi Derrick
It does look a little kid a protest but I don’t think the guy saw me as we were way back and I was taking a photo of the posters and bricks when he opened the door and walked out. He met a friend and they laughed and left…
So this snapshot surprised me when I saw it – barely remember clicking him – lol

  1. Love your street shot Yvette. I’m with Derrick, he does look a tad concerned. I guess his arm was up still after pushing open the door

    1. Hi bb
I think you are exactly right that his hand was still up from
The door and I don’t think he even saw me – he quickly met a friend and they laughed and walked off so that photo did not really show the scene but I guess that what street shuts sometime do – they give a split second photo that takes on a mood if it’s own?

      1. Thanks Yvette. A photo of the two laughing would have been good….or should I call you “One Typo Yvette” today 😂

And in hindsight I would see grabbed more photos that day! But we were on our way somewhere and I wasn’t really in the picture taking mood – but grabbed about a dozen photos in that area and was glad I did –

  2. I always enjoy your street shots. I, too, wondered about the first guy, but I’m going with the fact that he had just pushed the door open. He should be happy. This might be his 15 minutes of fame. I like the reflections in that first door (sorry, buddy, the door is more interesting). I haope you have a great weekend, Yvette.

    1. Hi Dan – I am glad You noticed the reflection on that large glass door! And I do think this is one of those split second photos that might not show the whole scene – he met up with someone across the little walkway and I don’t think he even saw me- and the hand was from the door opening – I just happens to grab the image at that time. 📸

Thanks for the comment and going to Miriam’s in a little bit to see the latest blog tour post!

  3. I especially like your B&W shot. The Warby Parker door made me smile because my parents used to see their ads on TV and wonder how you could get those glasses to just try. 🙂

    1. Hi / I am not familiar with those ads (maybe because AI is too busy flooding me with other irrelevant ads and I don’t get those)
But I did look it up and now I know what you mean!
Seems they spent (spend) a lot on advertisements (and data mining).

          Would say too!

I do think it is a way to show the bracelets (obviously because it is a pandora ad) but maybe they were going for quirky

  4. Hi Yvette – Seeing the guy come out holding his glass case, probably from his new Warby Parker glasses, he waved to you – thought he knew you? And maybe he should be wearing those glasses instead of carrying them if he didn’t know you? Maybe he was waving at the camera? I didn’t know WP had a store – I hear their ads on the radio all the time for their eyeglasses.
