A little floral lift today:

Love the blooms in the chairs, but can no longer be used to pull up a seat (linked to #Pull Up a Seat Week 41)

They were at a country fair and I think someone won a ribbon for their “chair flower pot”

Very colorful blooms Yvette and I love the chair with the plant – your garden looks so festive. We have have had very warm weather here (think 80, 15 degrees above normal), so the Summer flowers continue to bloom, outshining the mums.

It isn’t your grandfather’s Fall, that’s for sure. 🙂 It was downright hot and muggy this morning – 72 when I returned from walking at 10:00 a.m. Not the norm at all! At least there is no black ice under slippery leaves to worry about.

Lovely photos. That yellow chair really stands out.

Hi Vj
The yellow chair was also unusual because the paint did not cover the wood grain lines but- I think they used some type of colored stain – and it added a nice look

Beautiful blooms and pots in the chairs Yvette!~ I just did the same thing with my old metal chairs. It’s quite fun!

I love the chair repurposing as a planter!

Hi – I think it is a good idea too because those old chairs might not be sturdy or safe for airing

Hi cath – and fun to pin those creative chairs – great way to recycle an old chair (so many antique chairs are quite small too – perhaps better for flowers than for sitting

Where to start with your blogs? You have so many and there’s so little time at the moment. Loved this one anyway, so will slowly work my way through some more as i follow you.
