Let’s start off with items that were “SEEN” on a recent walk:
LETTER “S” formed in this discarded twine (and is that a chemical “sweetener” wrapper below that?)SQUISHED SMOKESSORTA SEE SOMETHING (head, body, arms – hands???)
Two of my favorite items lately: Veritas Sanitizer and Sovereign Silver:
1) SUPERIOR SANITIZER (truly this is my favorite)2) SOVEREIGN SILVER. Quick Story with this silver: When we were buying this latest batch of silver (yes, in person – at a store) the checkout lady was teasing that this item was quackery. I know what it is like to NOT understand supplements – I have been there myself as “critical and quick to dismiss” and then I used so many goodies and had great results. The proof is when supplements deliver results! Anyhow, real quick like – I told the checkout lady how silver has potent healing properties – silver is an all-natural antimicrobial that can help the immune system – silver was also used by kings to purify and store water. I quickly added that silver drops used to be what hospitals used to sanitize a baby’s eyes were they were born. Then – she said, “Oh yeah, – well they also used to give babies cocaine.” In the car, my spouse said – “Big difference between a class A drug and silver drops” – and then we briefly chatted about resistance to new ideas or just resistance to supplements. When information is so “foreign” or new to us — we tend to make quick assessments – and then later we might see that we were grouping erroneously – or just making a too-quick assessment without any research or without even trying it out. Part of that is normal because we humans need to have solid options (( if we were too vulnerable, we’d toss to and fro on ideas like a wave of the sea)). So the point is that I learned that rather than giving someone the iron hand — and rather than being quick to dismiss – it helps to have an open mind for new things. It is the “REASONABLE SKEPTIC” mindset that allows new ideas to be explored properly _ we are reasonable opened with a little skepticism in case it is BS, but we pause and explore before dismissing or minimizing new info.
SAY IT – quote from Voltaire
Last subject for the letter S – These Vietnamese SHRIMP SNACKS were shared with us by our neighbors last month-mmmm-sogood

Creative approach this week Yvette – loved it! I especially liked your shadow person 😊. Agree wholeheartedly with your assessment of our approach to skepticism.
Always pearls in your everyday captures others might stop to grumble at like me… lol
” clean up after yourself”
“Smoking is bad for you”
But quick silver… is amazing stuff.
keep bringing your creative spin to us to open up our minds… but I am right about the string and smokes.. lol!💖👏👏👏
Those Reds are in the best possible shape for us former smokers, squished and beyond any misbegotten temptation. As for the Voltaire quote, yes . . YES.
hahahaha – i know exactly what you mean with the beyond repair – hahah – i have seen folks toss some and then give in and reassemble 😉 so those are beyond repair
hope your weekend was nice
I’m still trying to work out what that trail on the ground is, or why someone would pee like that 😉
That Voltaire quote wasn’t actually written by him, though it matches his beliefs and he probably said something similar. They come from a book about him, by Beatrice Evelyn Hall (yeah, me neither). It’s funny how attributions can sometimes be commonly believed, isn’t it?
oh clive – thanks for the correction or note about the Voltaire quote – and now to think about it –
i bet his word choice would have been a bit different but that is good to know

and laughing pretty good because if it was from the urine. someone had some great aim! lol
Hi = thanks for chiming in on the silver – and I think the effectiveness of it depends on what a person needs sometimes too – ya know – like some folks have different deficiencies -and lap up different supplements
have a good day
Those shrimp snacks look delicious, Yvette. (You’ll notice that my eyes went immediately to the food!). The squished smokes is funny, too. A great collection for the letter S!
hi linda – it sure does look like a car ran over them
and we see empty cig containers sometimes but first time saw a pack with actually cigarettes inside
Must’ve fallen out of a coat pocket … I would have no idea the cost of cigarettes if not for seeing the price displayed at the gas station. I can remember when my mom got a carton of Pall Malls for $3.00 … that was before 1985 as she quit smoking cold burkey then. We used to take cartons of cigarettes over to Canada for people in the neighborhood who helped out my grandmother – at that time they paid $20.00 and we thought that was exorbitant, now likely twice that much.

Yeah I mean, when you’re going to those lengths where some scotch tape is in the mix, you’re definitely hopeless.
For me, it would take a zombie apocalypse before I would pick up the habit again.
Yours too amiga.

Interesting approach to the challenge this week. I enjoyed viewing them.
I agree with you about new progressive medicnal thinking. My husband
and I are fans of silver. But, it isn’t something many are willing to try.
Nicely done … Be Safe 😷 Isadora 😎
