Hello readers
It was late November when I saw these beautiful roses outside of our local grocery store.
And yes, I paused to smell the roses -Also, grabbed a couple of photos

Late last summer, I also paused when found this rose-colored pepper hiding on a small pepper plant that grew on its own in the peppermint container.

Lovely red roses, Yvette! Isn’t it wonderful to stop, smell and photograph the roses? Good for the soul. That red pepper was a find, too! Fun stuff!

HI Terri – it really is nice to pause along the way – and reminds me that the stores that take care of their landscape (whoever is n charge) it really can offer some beauty to have plants and shrubs and not just white stone – even tho rocks have a nice look too

Gino Vannelli had a great voice, I thought. I’m surprised he wasn’t more popular.

A few years ago we had a very rainy Fall and every weekend I kept putting off cutting down the roses, while hoping for better weather. We had a snowfall in early November and I did a post entitled “Jack Frost nipping at your rose.” The snow and ice were dripping off the rose buds and petals – such a pretty sight to behold, but it didn’t do wonders for the rose bushes which didn’t rally back 100% the next Spring. This song by Gino Vanelli I remember well.
