Heart air plant, street art, SUMO orange, and Shopping Cart Club (Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #134 02/06/2020)

This week, Tina invited folks show a few images that may not have met original expectations but through editing  turned into keepers.

I decided to use some fresh photos, from a trip to Wegman’s grocery store this weekend.

First, air plants in hearts: 

Before: I thought these were cute –

After: This crop made the back ground change: Doesn’t it look like there are clouds at the top part and perhaps an art painting in bottom of the background? – the yellow and red – maybe a slice of a Mondrian?

Second, Street art:

#2 Before: Street art for sure! Someone had fun.

Also at Wegmans: Shopping Cart Return

Last month – was chatting with Janet about the shopping carts at stores. We talked about the exercise we get (yes – it is good for us) to walk the cart back to the store (or even just walk it back to the little spots they have designated). Anyhow, one of my husband’s health coach colleagues, Ste, has a “sunrise club” and a “shopping cart club” – The sunrise club is a virtual group where folks share photos of starting their day while enjoying the early hours and the rising of the sun. The shopping cart club is similar – I guess folks just join in to make time to bring some carts back to the store – not sure if they take photos when they do it – but I took a photo last night to share how I do this. I am not part of the club (but could be if I went to that social media platform and joined in) but I have been doing this on and off since around 2012 and so my “shopping cart club” is established. I prefer to bring in three carts real quick like – once tried a few more cars but it is tough work – and – we do not want to get injured. So three carts is my max. Now of course I do not always do this – but try to wheel in a few carts when I can – it does give my body that little bit of “strength-workout” and maybe it helps a little. You might not ever want to wheel in carts – But please get your body moving – today’s knowledge work and digital world has us all sitting way to much – and the luxury of paying for services sometimes also robs us of moving our own body!! Sp please do not forget to use your body. Get that body movin” and you will some nice edits in your body with a little sculpting and hardiness. 🙂 

CLOSING: SuperBowl sugar cakes

I think the cookie decorators were a little biased for the Chiefs:

Well maybe there was no bias – but the Chiefs’ cookie does stand out more. 

 

Speaking of Superbowl – I am 60% going for the Bucs and 40% for Chiefs. What about you? Or are you not watching at all?
