Consider Looking up to See Layers of Beauty (#SquareUp Day 12)

It is Tuesday and here is January Square-up version –

Let’s remember LOOK UP AT THE EVERYDAY LAYERS to see the possible beauty.

This is how my 2020 started – looking up at this (which was actually very exciting for me – it was in Washington DC)
This is how my 2020 ended – looking up at this (which was also very exciting – and this was in Destin, FL)

    1. Hi Linda – that crazy song reminds me of an overplayed “karaoke” song at a place I worked at in 1992 – her song always reminds me of that season

      1. I grew up listening to Patsy Cline as my folks were big country music fans. They never cared for the more modern country singers, but they liked Hank Williams, Sr., Patsy Cline, Hank Snow – all the old country crooners from way back. They said the newer country singers did not have the mournfulness in their music like the old-timers did. This is true – they had that twang and the heartfelt sentiment. I could easily see “Crazy” being a karaoke song. 🙂

        1. Hi – when you say twang – it does fit a certain type of country songs – and my dad was a fan of that country music 🎶☀️🎶
And funny how some folks (me included) might not like the newbies of the way a genre evolves / like we like “Kane Brown” and had some country fans argue he was not pure country or something like that!???
Ahhh – we humans like what we like eh??

        2. I remember when Hank Williams Jr. first got on the airwaves – my parents scoffed at his mucis and said “that’s not country music!” They didn’t like Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings or Merle Haggard either. (I happen to like some of their songs.) You’re right Yvette – we have our favorite genres and singers and no one should mess with our expectations. 🙂
