Hello Readers -Time for a Two for Tuesday Post to share what brought some smiles this week (for Trent’s weekly smile)
I saw two very unique “vans” this summer:
Van #1

Van #2
In closing, here are two different photos of our dog, Elway. These two photos were taken two weeks apart – but form the different angles – it looks like the photos were “years apart” – but they weren’t – 🙂

Hope your Tuesday is doubly great – 🙂

A friend in Jesus on the van – then Elway contemplating a cross – perhaps a happy juxtaposition

Well Derrick – i honestly missed the window cross – so thanks for pointing that out! Really made me smile to see it because you are right – it fit the way you said it – but elway really was looking for bunnies – sometimes little cottontail ones run by that area and he gets teased

Not going to be able to read that van as it drives past…. I hope people don’t try, because it is possible if they do try to read too much while driving, they may end up meeting Jesus far sooner than they would like 😉 the other one does have cool colors. Like Elway’s photos.

lol. With the farther away photo I thought, “what in the world”, but as soon as I looked at the closer shot with the religious sayings, that thought entered my mind 😉

And I love originality and can imagine this guy going back to a hardware store for more stick on letters – had a small spot near the back door to add another verse to

I wonder how distracting it would be to see writing on a van and try to ignore it. As a passenger, it could be entertaining. You were certainly in the right place when you captured them. Fun … !!!
Have a wonderful day … Be Safe

Thanks Isadora and yes – both vans were parked so it made it very easy to photo both vans – and I love the one of a kind ones!
Good day to you 😊

Those vans are unique indeed, Yvette! I don’t think I’ve ever seen one with quite so much colour on it. You’d certainly see that coming! And what a very beautiful dog you have. 🙂

Elway is such a great name, and what a handsome boy!
It’s so funny because we named a dog we fostered years ago Tebow, lol.

Well those vans sure are creative but Elway has my heart with those pensive eyes and his “baybay” – made me smile for sure. I had a boss years ago with a chocolate lab that he named “Hershey”.

Oh that Hershey name is cute
And the little gorilla 🦍 that Elway is holding is his absolute favorite – Linda – I actually had that to bring down to Florida to baby James – but Elway found it and we let him keep it – and glad we did –
Hope your week is off to a nice start

I thought Hershey was a cute name too Yvette. That’s funny that dogs latch onto a toy like that. My aunt’s dog had a small pillow that was shaped like the Pac Man character, complete with the open mouth. It was bright yellow and a friend of hers gave Muffin that toy that their child had fished out of one of those machines you put a quarter in and get a stuffed animal – the kid didn’t like it. That dog toted that little pillow everywhere – my aunt was afraid to wash it in case it fell apart – she’d take it away to sponge it off and he’d throw such a fit, he got it back. 🙂 I like it is a shorter week …yesterday’s torrential rain put a damper (literally) on my walking regimen. Everything in nature these days seems to be the extreme.

The first van looks like one you’d see in San Francisco. I love your image of Elway by the window- there’s nothing like window light for a portrait. 🙂 A sweet dog, Yvette.

Hi Jane
Well technically speaking – that washed out photo of Elway might make some of you photo pros cringe – haha – so I appreciate your kindness – and in that photo – for me it was less about the light or even quality and more about his lounging! His comfort posture and all the joy he brought our way this year!
