Thought I would share the images today (and I am sure Becky is already scheduling the next theme for us to look forward to) – in the meantime, here are some “perspective leftovers”
1) I took this poto (as a passenger) and was initially thinking about the “stay in lane” sign – and how sometimes in life that is what we need to do. “Stay in our own darn lane!” We need to focus on our path and do what we do. Stay stable. Stay in your lane – and you’ve got this! Something like that. However, another thought also unfolded. Sometimes going through tunnels like this amazes me. I wonder what it was like constructing these helpful passageways – the hard labor, the effort, the joy of finishing. And how today – we just drive on through – looking at whatever lights they need to change – waiting for the streaming music to come back on – etc.

2) The shapes, colors, and items in this picture made me feel a little tilted – et tu? 3) Do not recall taking this photo – I think it was through a window 4) I do recall taking this photo – and I liked the lines here5) 😦 (linking to pull up a seat)
….

Thanks again to Linda for a steady supply of fun images
Okay, any thoughts? Any photos stand out?
I numbered them to see if folks wanted to share a top photo from today and/or a least favorite.
thanks for chiming in Sorryless – cheers to #4 – even though if I stare at it long enough I feel the balance thing with that one too – or maybe it was just too hot today
Morning! I like your #3 best, I think. And I kept going back to #2 — kind of gave me an off-balance feeling! LOL! Got more funnies to come! Have a wonderful weekend and be well!
thanks so much Linda – for sharing your take on the photos (cheers to number 3) and also thank for the funny s- and wishing you a great weekend as well 🙂
That second one did make me a bit dizzy! When I go through tunnels, I always think how amazing it is that they can be built and stay up and that if I were in a movie with The Rock or Arnold, there would probably be a mountain of water chasing me. 🙂 Yes, I do have thoughts like that. Sometimes when I see a cardboard box or some sort of junk lying in the street, I think what it must be like for soldiers or people in countries where anything like that could be a bomb/IED and how blessed I am, even in these times of trial in the US. As for the second half of the year (or last quarter), I try to be hopefully.
Janet – really enjoyed hearing some of your thoughts and it truly “could be worse” – also – you are right – we are int he las “quilter” of the year – and a little hard for me to beleive – already September
The one picture made me dizzy as well and I think I like #5 with the symmetry of the chairs with the caution signs around them. The meme pretty much sums up the balance of the year. 🙂
Love it when extra squares appear, and you are right I am thinking about the next theme! Plan to announce very soon 🙂

My fave is 4. The 2 photo makes my vertigo kick in but I dig that color combo.

Looks like they put up all the seats. We seem to be living the ancient curse: may you live in interesting times.

I have to disagree with you. My favorite is #2. I love the perspective and especially love the colors. I’m stealing that one for your guest post. 🙂
