I like the foot placement and the triangles positioning here…
Photo taken in February 2020 – When I saw this photo later at home (you know, after you take street shots you see more details later) – well everyone is going right while the sign says “one way” to the left. linked to pull up a seat….
All photos from East Coast of US February/March 2020
I’ve held those business hours for years.
The yellow seats are cheerful, just empty. The one with the blankets of homeless people almost made me cry. As we face these times having a home seems so important.
Thanks for your comment – you made me laugh with the business hours – and – yeah – I know what you mean with the homeless – and I hope they never become invisible to me –
I love the business hours, Yvette. They look a little like mine. Sometimes. 🙂
Your photos are interesting, especially in that they mostly preceded the lockdown – eeriely so.
Your creativity has me leaning toward the computer screen. Now what actually falls in a broken sidewalk block?
I’m still chuckling at the business hours sign.
Sue, thanks for noting the brick. When I grabbed that photo I was hoping there would be some “theme” via blog world to use it for. Maybe “broken” or “bricks” – and nothing really came up and so today was the ay to share it – and glad you were leaning in- mission accomplished !

good day to ya
Those were great street shots and the foot placement on the triangle and the crane were my favorites … saw some unmasked males in March (or maybe February as you said). You have many homeless folks as do we. That was a great sign at the end … a little ambivalent about the proprietor’s hours?!
“well everyone is going right while the sign says “one way” to the left.” You know with that pic and this comment the Holy Spirit gave me a simple but powerful message from it. Everyone in the world right now is not going in the right way (There’s only one way to the right way which is Jesus Christ.) they rather go the opposite way which is not the right way to the WAY but to death and destruction. God bless and thanks for sharing such lovely images!
The backyard cartoon made me smile. Thanks for a picker upper. Nice archive shots too.

Can’t decide whether I like that yellow table and chairs, or if the color’s too much! 🙂

I love the comic and the sign and I got a smile from the line going the opposite way of the one way sign.
