Another vote for the running track shot, Yvette. Such a great sweep! 🙂 🙂 Wishing you and yours the happiest of festive seasons.

I love the leaves on the running track and the running track. There are some great photos here, Yvette. That final shadow and spork is a cracker.

Thanks Tish – and my step daughter got the biggest kick out of sporks – it was cute – and the track photo is a top image for this post! I had a wonderful walk that day too

A fine set of photographs with good captions. Your dominoes one also reminded me of hopscotch.

Derrick – now that you mention it I wonder if it was for hopscotch

I really like the shadow photo!! Extraordinary!

Thanks – and it is always funny how distorted the shadows can be – some are thin thin thin – and other are thick

I loved that park, that sunset, that everything about this gallery really. Such a groovy vibe to this one. And yes, the four cones . . I am superstitious and three cones just would not have done. Need the fourth. Or two fives like the dominoes design, 😉
I used to love Wendy’s chili too. That with an order of fries and I was good to go.

Well thanks for the comment on the photos for this round A I have a funny surprise for the second post with walk images (something kind of gross! – )
And mmmm to
The fries – but for me – I would get a baked potato after my chili – and not sure if you remember this – bout there was a time when Wendy’s would add hamburger patties to the chili – a few times I would get almost a whole burger slice in my chili – and a carnivore like myself – and hungry college person – was pretty excited about that. Lol

I liked their baked potatoes too. And yes, I do remember when you got a burger with your chili, LOL.

I love that park that overlooks Richmond and that photo before it with the walking path and the scattered leaves – perfect symmetry there. Is that a walking path/biking path Yvette. I could very much picture myself in those two parks.

Hi linda – thanks for the comment – the track is near a small Rex center and they have my favorite walking path – varied and not too long – and the park that overlooks the city is not close Enough for me to enjoy often – and I do think you would LOVE it! Squirrels and birds.
Also – there is a warm feeling there of decades past – not just with the Mr schmedly statue –
But the old houses and whispers felt

Yes, I feel like that at Elizabeth Park – just peaceful and many people walking and waving to one another, saying “good morning” but intent on enjoying nature and getting their steps in.

Fab images, Yvette! I’m voting for the leaves on the running track, a dynamic shot!

Another collection of great photos, Yvette. I love the park and that track with those leaves scattered all over it – I can see why you like the mood so much. Apologies for my absence recently, owing to me banning myself from blogging because of a lack of time. I had a hideous, long assignment that took weeks of burning midnight oil, all the Christmas preparations, the usual three and a half hour school run to do so something had to give. But I’ve just submitted the assignment and I can get back to blogging and my mead quest at last! Merry Christmas to you and yours, Yvette, and all the best fr 2020. ❤ 😀

Hi – well I know you know this but “real life” always comes before blogging and all the more when it comes
To family and school – as we both know – and sometimes an absence can make us miss someone –
Ya know ?
So let’s embrace some long pauses (and hope Stuart is enjoying his…) and I know we miss being in the sphere too – but welll–
Looking forward to the mead quest continuation and congrats on getting the monster assignment done 🙏

Thanks again, Yvette. I do indeed know exactly what you mean. Stuart has needed a long pause, but hopefully he’ll be back soon, and he speaks very fondly of your blog. As for the mead quest, it’s been real fun, and its drawing to a close now – I’ll be unleashing Sticky Rogers on the world at the weekend. Fingers crossed for a good flavour! Cheers! 😀
