Photos from Daily Walks (2020 Countdown 13 of 31)

FOR Day 13 of 31 of the countdown to 2020 – I have some top photos from the first part of the “Walking out 2020” (Go here to read about it)

 

1) Saw a handful of gorgeous sunsets.

2) Saw some spots that looked like domino pieces – two fives 🙂

3) Saw this building under construction  —  the four cones had a stable feel. Something about “four” has a math feel – like four quadrants maybe?

4) Same building – down a ways – four trees – with a proud and stately feeling. A few years ago, when the Richmond Redkins training camp was being built – they bulldozed all of the trees and everyone was upset. So now, many builders leave trees as much as possible. Good.

5) Love this photo – I was going for the leaves – and bit of tree – but later I liked the mood of it overall. 

6) Hubs took me to this cool park that overlooks the city of Richmond – we did a double walk on this day – makes up for the handful of days missed ((Even though the goal is to have a splash of a walk every day for the physical benefits and fresh air for the mind)) anyhow, this image is also linked to PULL UP A SEAT

7) Mr. Smedley Sculpture (1985). It was fun to see this art memorial for someone who was obviously a big part of this park and neighborhood. I bet he was a nice person. Many readers know my nephew passed away in 2017 and someday – maybe – it would be nice to have something like this erected for him in the neighborhood that he was such a staple in. Maybe – maybe not – but I really  liked the texture of this scuplture. Hope it comes through in the photo. 

8) Are you looking for the Treasure Map X? I found it for ya.

9) TRASH… of course – and here we have on the left – the “almighty bad for you Chif-fil-A wrapper – and on the right – empty bag from chips. 

10) MORE TRASH… The upper left surgical mask reminds me how some people have to wear these masks today — part of our polluted society and people with failing immune systems. The Broken Wendys spoon reminds me of the early 90s when I loved Wendy’s chili. The coors light also reminds me of a the 90s- visiting the brewery in Golden –  and that can reminds me of a cousin who in CA who (in the 80s) first called it the silver bullet and it was emerging as a Colorado beer.  Lastly – the shadow photo has a spork – I took that to show my step-daughter. When she was really little and first learned about a spork – she loved them and once in a while we would send her a couple in her goody box – or we would have a few in the drawer for her to sue when she visited. She liked those sporks.
