December Squares Day 2: Time to adorn Rose of Sharons with Holiday Lights
December Squares Day 3: Time for Tiffany lamps with all their glory:
December Squares Day 4: Time for holiday lights at yoga – and here is Rachel – one of my favorite fitness instructors (especially back in 2016 and I wish I took her classes more back then – oh well):
And considering we have a theme of light for this square post, here are a few photos from a drop in “restorative yoga” class I recently took with Jennie Choi:
I was at Jennie’s class, minding my own business and just decompressing, when the beautiful sunset lit the room and cast a nice mood.
I quietly reached over – grabbed my phone, clicked a few pics, and then smiled as I exhaled and got back to centering – ahhhh….
If you are in the mood to try a pose or two – maybe you can try this Open Wing pose (middle one in the image below). It is great for the upper body and can help enrich the energy flow around the heart:

Hi – and actually I these images planned for separate posts (for the December square challenge) and I am amazed at how they happened to make a nice cohesive “light” post. thanks for your nice comment.

The yoga space is great for photos. Hope you didn’t get into trouble for sneaking off and snapping away 🙂

Nobody noticed and I actually stayed on my mat (bag was close to me and it was all done in less than two minutes while folks exhaled – lol

I thought you were going to say “not into yoga – but you like pina colodas and getting caught in the rain….”

Ah, I forgot about that song but now you mentioned song. I have another song in mind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aUKazZXI5I … If I’d have never known your name
I’d still be driving that old green ‘Nova
I probably never would have heard of yoga….

I know we’re not visiting, Yvette, but I was lured in by your Christmas lights. I especially love the Tiffanys and their ghostly reflections. Wishing you peace at this joyful time of year. We were granted residency for 5 years in the Algarve today so I’m having a mild celebration and wanted to share it. 🙂 🙂

Congrats on the residency – wow – and I still think of you whenever the Algarve comes up-
And so let’s visit when it happens naturally – like now – because sometimes less can be more –
I will drop by soon and love ya restless Jo

I used to love my yoga classes, when I retire I hope to take it up again – if I haven’t seized up too much!

Well you make a good point – it takes time to “go” to classes and I have cut back on mine to save time –
But maybe before retirement you can start some mini yoga sessions at home ?
🙏😊
