Hello, I am joining in with Cee’s B&W Photo Challenge: Any kind of tables or chairs
The photographs in this post are from Pembroke Springs B&B (here) in Northwest Virginia. Click on any photo to go to the slide show.
The Slow, Lab at Play sign sits on the driveway leading up to the B&B. I had to include it today because of some recent doggie posts, and two of them are here:

Thanks Dan – I was not sure how I wanted to share a few pics from the visit – and cee’s theme this week seemed to fit

Sounds like a good road trip. Only 909 minutes from me. 🙂 Interesting menu!

15 hours? right on Marie – and you would maybe want to stay two nights for sure –

It really is a cool destination place and my friend (who introduced it to me) goes every year – and knows what room she loves (Pine). I have another post coming later with some photos of the bath areas – they have calcium baths from the local springs
here is a snippet:

Oops. Should say 90. 🙂

oh – HUGE difference!!
email me if you decide to go – well if you want –
they have an option for a chef-prepared dinner (40$) and the chef visits your table, and while it might be nice to do once, I would not do it again

B & W rendered always has something to it than the normal color counter part. I like it. The place and objects in the post are interesting too. I’ve never stayed in any B&B before and I am not sure that I have courage to try but the pictures give me some warm feeling and more like living in a house. This is good.

Hi YC – so never stayed at a B and B? It is pretty laid back and you might really like it! If by chance you’d ever want to visit this place – they have something called afternoon visits – not sure what it involves and you have to call
To schedule a visit – but the owners are awesome and you are right is like staying in someone’s home –

Thank you for the info. Hmm, I might try that someday.

Thanks a lot – and sometimes I take photos for the “Thursday doors” challenge but then use them for other posts – and this is one of those pics -;)

Nice gallery, I like the one marked “Chairs and view” best, I like the stillness in it.

There is an something special in B&B images… if composed well, there are less distractions in such photos and the main subject draws all the attention…
Also, we put more effort in the basics of photography, I feel 🙂
This is really a nice challenge and sadly I missed it…
So good to see your entries, Yvette 🙂
