The weekly photo challenge (Here) invites us to show a smile, make us smile, or both.

Here is my take:

This April 1966, Life Magazine brings some smiles (note the writing on the right – evidence??)

  1. I’ve missed this challenge this week, I’ll have to look it up later. I enjoyed your entry, the photos did make me smile. I like the purple glass sculpture. I’m intrigued as to why the magazine was evidence for something – would make a good story!

    1. THat would have made a good story and maybe I should have submitted it to sunday photo fiction of friday fictioneers. oh and I think that purple a plastic medium…. so is the blue – the artist (Haziza is an acrylic artist

  9. I would like to know what part of the first picture (the magazine cover) brought a smile 🙂

    The acrylic art pieces are so cool. I love both strong geometric piece and the curvy one.

    1. well seeing that you asked, and good question too – the part that made me smile (on magazine cover) was actually the pen lines someone drew in. Did you ever do that? Doodle on a magazine?
      Also, the man has a goofy look – and I dunno – the look on the lady’s face is a bit much too…
      and I did not realize the acrylic pieces were so diverse as curvy and geo – so thx for noting that. I bet they take a long time to make.

      1. Ah, I see that part can make you smile. He looks funny with those drawing lines added. He also looks goofy the way he looked (or appeared to look) at the lady too. The lines made that appear even more goofy. And oh yes, I did that often when I was elementary school age 🙂 I do not think I did much in the high school time and later.
